Choosing hedge trimmers
The NTH23S and NTH650 platforms share a 22.5–23cc engine with a diaphragm carburettor that keeps running at any angle. The 26cc NT-K26B steps up to industrial use with a 55 cm blade. A rotating rear handle makes vertical cuts on tall hedges easier.
Blade length, handle style, colour and packaging can be specified. For tea estates, the NTH260 tea picker uses the same engine with a collection bag.

What blade length should a gasoline hedge trimmer have?
600–650 mm blades cover most residential and park hedges in fewer passes. Shorter 550 mm blades are easier to control for detailed shaping.
Is a double-sided blade better than a single-sided blade?
Double-sided blades cut in both directions, so the operator can sweep back and forth without turning the machine. Single-sided blades are mainly used for straight-line work against walls.
